    Actually, they're saying this swine flu strain is unlike anything they have ever encountered before.
    And yes, it's NOT normal to have it crop up at this time of year either. But hey, don't let facts get in your way. Go ahead and beleive what ever you want to beleive, you do still have that right. SO FAR you do, that is. But that's all likely to change soon!

      It unusual, but not improbable. The flu can occur in any season. Flus tend to spread faster in the winter because kids are cloistered in schools which become microbial stews. Microbiologists have been warning for decades about increasing frequency and potency of pandemics that will be increasingly difficult to treat, particularly in poverty-stricken, densely-populated areas. It's a natural, evolutionary consequence of the over-aggressive use of antibiotics and disinfectants.
