  And we will see how he responds if the outbreak worsens into a national crisis.
  
  I didn't blame Bush for Katrina, I blamed him (and many others) for the pathetic response to it. As I understand it, Obama, who receives briefings several times a day, has asked Congress for $1.5 billion to fight the outbreak and alerted parents to prepare for possible school closures, but has otherwise left the matter in the hands of the CDC.

  Just amazing how people think natural occurances like this have a politcal agenda when they happen. Stuff happens and doesn't wait until a "president" or anyone else is in an office of power. So guess what I won't care who's watch it was, because no one has control over this or anything else that is a natural event.

    I'm waiting for the Religious Right blowhard who's gonna say H1N2 is God's punishment for something.
    
    Seems like a slam-dunk to me: "Swine Flu is God's wrath on Mexico for sending their people here to destroy God's chosen nation."
