Senator Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) will begin the debate on immigration reform when the new chair of the immigration senate subcommittee holds a hearing on Thursday. Schumer played a key role in the 1986 amnesty, brokering a compromise on agricultural workers that helped the bill pass.

Once again our Washington politicians from the President to the House and Senate are trying to give amnesty to illegals. With millions of American's out of work, our debt greater than every debt from President Washington to the current President Chuck Schumer and company are campaigning for amnesty.

Our entitlement system in many states is almost broke, California for one, facing the possible threat of an out break of Swine Flu that could be a pandemic, our leaders have taken their focus off the good of the American people and are selfishly willing to give citizenship to illegal to insure them of a new voting block.
Offers of instant citizenship, free health care, free education, low home loans insures politicians a life time of support from people the politicians are using and turning into a slave class.-

One more time. The only way to stop the immigration of illegal aliens is to prosecute fully the people who hire them. If the immigrants can't get a job, they will not stay. It is that simple. Unless the industries who rely on illegal immigrants to make their cost structures work change, there is no reason to keep prosecuting the illegals who work here. Employers will just hire different illegals to fill the shoes of the deported.

Walls are stupid wastes of money. Not all illegal immigrants come from Mexico. There is a large population from Europe who come on visas and stay.
Prosecute the real criminals here. Stop prosecuting pawns.

It seems to me this administration is keeping so many issues going at once knowing they will eventually sneak this one behind our backs. This is the most disgusting display of out and out arrogance and disregard for the American people I've ever seen.
They are hell bent on getting this voting block, making illegals beholding to them. That's slavery, and it's wrong. It's wrong too the way they are doing the American people who are suffering, in need of jobs, some help, so what do they do?
Give away everything from citizenship to jobs to our sovereignty. Next up silence our speech.

No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
That's what sets policy for immigration...why debate it...if they qualify, they qualify.-

This country will never stop illegal immigration or enforce it with serious laws,right now there are over twenty million illegals in this country and their are organized and funded to protest and resist any action against them,also they can cause many problems to our system,like agriculture,food service,childcare,and so on,they are in every aspect of our daily lives,the problem is they are to many and are overwhelming the system therefore cause and affect and crime.America has become beacon of the world!

If it's good for Mexico that would be equal treatment wouldn't it?
Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:
Foreigners are admitted into Mexico "according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress." (Article 32)
Immigration officials must "ensure" that "immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents. (Article 34)
Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets "the equilibrium of the national demographics," when foreigners are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when "they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy." (Article 37)
The Secretary of Governance may "suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest." (Article 38)
Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:
Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)
A National Population Registry keeps track of "every single individual who comprises the population of the country," and verifies each individual's identity. (Articles 85 and 86)
A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).
Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:
Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)
Foreigners who sign government documents "with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses" are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)
Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:
Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)
Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)
Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121).
Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico -- such as working with out a permit -- can also be imprisoned. Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,
"A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally." (Article 123)

They say they can't find them. Today they said they tracked the swine flu to a 5 year old, told the exact town he lived in.........they don't want to secure the borders because they want new voters to keep the democrats in office from now till doomsday and they will do just that because the republicans are a gang of spineless wimps.
