Chicago: 16 local schools closed for H1N1 flu »

As the first Illinois cases of the H1N1 virus have been confirmed, more schools have closed their doors.
Earlier Friday morning, officials had counted 46 probable cases in Illinois - 16 in the city of Chicago and 109 in the United States.
Eleven area schools are closed. They are in Joliet, Batavia, Oswego, Aurora, St. Charles, Streamwood and Chicago.
Five additional schools have been added to the list of local schools now closed because of the virus.

Of the reported cases of H1N1 flu strain there are:
Reply
* 16 in the city of chicago
* 11 in suburban Cook County.
* 8 in Kane County
* 3 each in Will and Kendall counties.
* DuPage and Lake counties each have 2.
* And one probable case in McHenry County.
Local health officials are still awaiting confirmation from the Centers for Disease Control on the possible cases of the H1N1 flu.-

Here's a worldwide map of suspected outbreaks with confirms and pending cases.
I believe it updated hourly, but I may have misread that.
