Eventually we will see liabilities of $65 trillion – more than four times U.S. GDP, more than global GDP. There will be a hyper inflation where the dollar becomes worthless, where the paper is worth more as wall paper than as currency.

At least when Bush was re-elected in 2004 we knew what to expect. We knew the war would still be dragging on. We knew OBL would still be making videos. And we knew the economy would be destroyed.

I planned accordingly. Sold stocks. Was transferred in 2004 but did not buy another house. Now I'm ready to buy a house ant about half what it would have cost in 2004. And in a few months it will be time to get back in the stock market. Probably when the Dow is around 5000.
But what happens next. What will printing all this money do? I suspect hyperinflation will be next, but I'm not so sure.
Bush was a disaster for America, but at least we knew what to plan for. Obama is truly trying to make things better but I not convinced that printing money is the way to go.
