I'm not really surprised by this. If there was a clear plan beyond closing Guantanamo Bay, I don't know what it was. Why would any other country want to take the accused terrorists?

Should the detainees be given a fair trial? Yes, absolutely. And maybe that does mean changes in the tribunal system, but I don't see how closing Gitmo can help anything. It's a place to keep prisoners, and while they're being detained, they're not attacking anybody. Let's get on with the process, and let justice be served to the best of our ability.
