Posted By jigar435 6 months, 2 weeks ago in HumorIt's surprising how many people still believe in the stupid theory of Creationism over the more convincing theory of evolution and natural selection.. A parody on Creationism..

Intelligent design ?

I don't have so much a problem with that as I do the absolutely ridiculous arguments being proffered in it's defense. Even as a person who believes in a Higher Being myself I am often in disgusted awe of the idiocies presented by some who support ID. It's willful ignorance and the less some of these people know the louder and more violently they defend it. There is an awful lot more in the first chapter of Genesis than you find in the plain text of the KJV, but what these folks are preaching isn't it.
Personally, The more I read about the origins of life I find myself leaning towards exogenesis in one form or another (whether by design or not) as the most likely answer. It makes more sense to me than anything else I have heard so far...Life begets Life. I consider this position a long way from that of the Id'ers even though some may find it just as unlikely.
I am not certain I buy all the way into the panspermia hypothesis but that's just me ..I think because it is too inclusive...though life IS probably the norm and not the exception. There is certainly no evidence against it.
The truth is we don't know...our best guess is just that. Our science is still in it's infancy and ALL our ideas and theories may prove wrong in time.
Not that we should drop the question...just be a little more discerning about what is fact and what is believed.-

My Fellow Americans: I'm trying to keep from rolling over with laughter. Creationism? Please, a bolt of lightning in the ocean created some living organism, developed into a fish, flopped ashore, and became a lizard, then a bird, then a monkey, than a man? How funny is that? So, how come once in awhile a man produce a mutated monkey? Sorry, a man sometimes does, it's called a Liberal. Mutation into a fish, how about a bird, a snake. What about insects where did they come from. Well it is like this. Like it or not. God, that's right GOD, Created Heaven and Earth and All Living Things. The Bible tells the True Story and no one has been able to dispute that story yet. Creationism is a figment of that wacko Scientists' pea brain Darwin. It can't explain anything but the above fairy tale. If that is the case, and it isn't, how come lightning hitting the Ocean on a regular basis hasn't created hoards of people swimming ashore. Oh! those people swimming ashore? They are called Illegal Aliens.

Your argument (such as it is), relies on compressing time to ridiculously short spans. Remember, the theory says this all took billions of years, not mere seconds. Thus, your entire line of reasoning falls.

How about you make your point without calling people names?

My Fellow Americans: I guess you did not get the point. The only way this world could have come into existence is if it was Created. I thought if I explained Evolution as Creationism I would get the normal rebukes. Didn't work. Oh Well, I finally said that God did it all. The world is just to complex for it to have happen on it's own. The Complexity of a simple living tree, the billion insects, all unusual, on and on and on. Remember, man the supposed most intelligent living creature on this Earth, can not and has never created one living thing. There is a joke that states the smartest scientist went to god and said. "God we don't need you anymore because we can now produce life, by cloning and such." God said, "Why don't we have a contest and see who can do it faster, like I did in the old days." The Scientists agreed. At that point one of the scientists bend down and picked up a handful of dirt. God looked at him and said. "Hey, get your own dirt." The Real American

So, what you're saying is because you can't understand evolution theory it must be false? What else don't you understand?

I learned in Biology class about the complexity of living organisms, and an amazing amount of the process is now understood. All that DNA and stuff, proteins, catalysts, etc. If we understand this much, why not more in the future? Or should we go back to carrying or dragging our stuff because the wheel didn't exist when early H. Sapiens evolved? Life, the universe, and time itself are not steady-state, but constantly evolving.
