This article has some interesting information:

Many states lack drug supplies
More than two dozen do not have enough medicine to treat swine flu

The same article also has some good advice and a description of symptoms
I do wonder if we are actually picking up all of the cases
An neighbor called me Wednesday. Her husband was sick - temperature 102, sore throat, cough, severe aching. I told her to call their doctor for advice. Because her husband was improving and did not have vomiting or diarrhea they said just give him tylenol and fluids and call back for an appointment if he got worse. She now has the same symptoms
Thinking back to times I or members of my family have had the flu, none of us have ever had the GI symptoms

Is it just me, or is something amiss here? Thirty six thousand people die annually from the flu and we don't hear a peep,,,,, but now we are freaked about about this flu, which appears to not be very virulent thus far. I think the feds need to chill, because it seems the next generation may be the 'bad' stuff and if they over hype this one, people will not pay attention when they really need to in the future.
