Wrong. He will appoint a man that will change what the constitution says by reading things into it that are not there. Just like Roe vs. Wade when nothing in the constitution says anything about abortion. Nothing about it as far as a persons body etc. That ruling created a big divide in the country with most people against it. But that is the very liberal way of getting things that the congress or legislatures want. For exampleCalifornia and Gay marriage.

Obama needs to get a new set of adjectives. If he thinks he blow smoke up everyone's rear end with these same old rerun statements, he is in trouble. His whole image of what needs to be done with a set of thought out super adjectives is getting old. While his actions so far speak for themselves. He counterdicts himself constantly. I don't know how he gets away with it.

Heh...I remember listening to then candidate Bush speak to a crowd in Seattle before the 2000 election...he promised to put an end to DEA raids on medical marijuana dispensaries in states where MMJ is legal.

Needless to say, that not only didn't happen, the raids increased during his regime.
Not sure how he got away with that, in hindsight...but he very much blew smoke (no pun intended) up the rear-ends of the people in Washington state. I guess people only see what they want to see, hm? 8)

It would seem that President Obama, (and his team) are methodically dismantling the neo-conservative structure of government brought to us by Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich.

A more progressive Supreme Court will be helpful in that task, and I would hope for some movement in that direction.
I don't pretend to know the future, nor do I expect politicians to be unvaryingly honest. To quote the late George Romney; "I learned you can't tell the truth and get elected." Yet we can hope for more fairness and equity in government and economics. Otherwise, it won't work.
