When I was young my grandfather used to speak of moon gardening…planting crops by the phases of the moon…and it used to stir in me magical images. I pictured him outside gardening by moonlight…and I would wonder….why moon gardening? What power did this pale white satellite have over the flowers, fruits and vegetables he had in his garden?
