Downing another shot to steady my nerves and make “the spins” go away, I happened to notice that the Federal Reserve bought up, for itself, a whopping $94.5 billion of worthless, toxic crap last week! In One Freaking Week (OFW)!

    Richard Daughty seems to be long on speculations of doom and short on answers. He's made no suggestions as to how we get out of our country's economic mess. Everybody knows that gold is good in a down economy but it's not going to fix the economy. I think the Guru has a lot of gold and is trying to drive the price even higher. Oh, and "a whopping $94.5 billion of worthless, toxic crap" is an oxymoron.

      before you can fix a problem, you have to admit that you HAVE a problem.

      MG may be short on answers, but he's correct when he says the system is broke.

      Having Treasury or the Fed try and reflate the economy on whimsical hopes is no route to a solution.

      the japanese are reaching the conclusion that they are stuck in a deflationary spiral.

      when can we count on something beyond the status quo from the current leadership?
