My dad died from Mesothelinoma. It's a cancer with 0% survivability. The deadly part of Asbestos is the dust. If you remove it, you risk huge amounts of dust. It's best to build around it and encapsulate. There have been dozens of fraud cases already where people paid to remove it but the contractor either didn't remove everything or the dumped it improperly. Even small amounts can haunt you years down the road.
