"They" are probably doing something. Indeed! The leftists insisted on knowing every detail concerning "what was being done" during the past administration but now we can rest assure that we are in good hands, but just don't ask what's going on. It would seem that Afghanistan is Obama's war and eventually we'll have to stop blaming Bush. Too bad, some want to blame Bush until they run against him again in 2012. I don't think the electorate is that stupid, but time will tell. "We needed more troops", where were we to get them? The left continually whined about extensions and longer tours. And when more troops did arrive, who complained? Who said we lost, and to send them home? And who is blaming Obama? No one. Another straw man argument!

More to the point, there is a definite problem here, the potential for terrorists to get their hands on nuclear weapons is real is worthy of a meaningful discussion. We are in the here and now, hopefully, we will be able to stabilize the region.

Well it seems as if one thing hasn't changed - remember the emergency supplemental spending bills to fund Iraq and Afghanistan the left was always complaining about under Bush?

Seems that Obama asked Congress to give him $83.4 billion more to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan last month

Where is the left complaining about the funding not being in the budget?

Of course $83.4 billion isn't enough for Congress. They want $94.2 billion in emergency funds
