Considering that statements made under torture aren´t suitable for justice, how can they be legal at all? The problem Mr. Obama is facing now is that he has to go on with the military courts, because no civil court could accept the investigative methods on which the accuses are based. I have a question for Mr. Gonzales, this past weekend an American citizen ran the border coming into Canada and when he was finally stopped it was found that he had quite a few weapons, both long guns and handguns with him as well as a large supply of ammunition and numerous containers containing gas. So far the mounties say that the man is being very uncooperative about who he is and what he had planned. My question is should we consider this man a possible terrorist and torture him to find out what he is up to?

We must be sort of a different bunch in this area where I live since most of us don't seem to concerned with this event, even the reports from the mounties have not made much of this event and most seem more concerned with the mental health of the individual than what he did, I even heard one comment that maybe the gas fumes got to him and he did not even know he had run the border.-

Update on the guy who ran the border, he is a 49 year old ex lawyer from Wisconsin and his family has reported that he does suffer from mental health issues , so I am hoping the legal system uses some common sense and tries to get him some help. Good thing that we didn't torture him, he likely has suffered enough already.
