This is stupidity in action. When the president goes anywhere the Secret service go before, with and after him. The streets are cleared out in front of him. The area is cleared out and people are kept away. So the business on that strip mall took it in the neck while he was having that burger. Does he care for anybody but himself? That trip cost a bundle of money and hurt the local businesses. That is why presidents mostly have things brought to them.

Obama, Dems at Impasse on Climate Change
cap and trade will add3 to 4 thousand dollars to the energy cost of the AVERAGE American and accomplish nothing. It will not reduce the evil bane of all mankind CO@ emissions.

So does a motorcade. And I notice the reporter made a point of telling us that both Obama and Biden pulled cash from their own pockets to pay, and pointed out that they waited for their food like all us lowlife commoners would have to do. And I also notice that in telling us those things it seems they may well have been intended to keep our minds off ot... who paid for the motorcade and all the food for the reporters.

"The restaurant, which prides itself on premium aged 10-ounce burgers, sits in a small strip plaza. The burgers sell for $6.95."

Where's the beef! ;-)
Actually, 7 bucks for a 10-oz burger is a good deal - at least to someone who is used to NYC prices. -

We've had two run ins with the US and Chinese navies but not a word.
We have Iran once again threatening Israel and Obama is siding against Israel.
We are very close to a national health care program rammed through and this is news?

haha this is priceless...yet I'm kicking myself thinking about how sad it is that of all things THIS is what we want to know about our president. "And tonight at 10 PM, we sift through Obama's trash, and you won't BELIEVE what we found!"

I think that it is quite sad that the leader of "government for the people, by the people" draws so much attention because he wanted to go catch a burger.

I think he (and every other President) should get out more.
Maybe he can go for pizza next time. -

If I could, I would post you a flower
or a song or something to cheer you up.
Look around,
- there has to be something for you in the real world!
Obama has a dog and a job and a pretty wife and kids
he plays with; and he isn't thinking about you at all !
Pay him back!
Get a life!-

Are you talking to all of the reporters who made the trip to document it for posterity? C'mon, crymtyphon, isn't it OK to make light of this since the reporters thought it was important?

And, by G(g)od, did you see the photo that was with the story? Look at Biden's face and gesture and tell me that it's not funny.
