      FTA:

In fact, Jowers concludes, "There’s no question that Huntsman is, perhaps, the most talked about republican in the country right now."

Frankly I haven't heard his name mentioned before

If he's Mormon they will try to do the same thing to him they did to Romney - attack his religion

The biggest problem is the republicans won't win with a moderate. They tried moderate and even left of moderate in 2008 and it didn't work. Yeah, I'll bet this guy really scares the liberal progressives sort of like McCain scared them, not at all.

Luntz is one of the premier republican pollsters and strategists.

"I'd have to really look at Huntsman's record as governor before I would even consider him." Good for you, I'm glad to see someone using their noggin.

      this is just an advertisement.

Jowers concludes, "There’s no question that [Jon] Huntsman is, perhaps, the most talked about republican in the country right now."

      ummm. Jon who?

Anybody that does business with Frank Luntz has got to be a criminal.

      Nice advertisement, though/

It is essential that the U.S.A. have at least one opposition party. Now that the Republican party is all but extinct, perhaps it is time to thing about new possibilities?

the idea that Obama is fearful of huntsman sounds like its just wishful thinking by the writer (who works for ABC's Utah affiliate, of course).

the quote from David Plouffe, Obama's campaign manager, said Huntsman makes him "queasy" followed by an ellipses, then a complimetary satatement.

which means we don't actually know exactly whats missing between "queasy" and the rest of that sentence.

never did Plouffe say Obama was actually fearful of huntsman. never did Plouffe express any real concern about Huntsman's viability on the nat'l level. nothing.

all Plouffe said was that huntsman is in a great place because he's the only possible GOP pres. candidate anywhere near the middle right now. which is actually a veiled insult to the GOP, saying their too far to the right and out of touch, rather than some admission of fear.

AND...when did "queasy" become the equivalent of "fearful?"

the writer of this piece really needs to check both his dictionary and thesaurus.

that said, Huntsman does sound like he has a brain in is head, which is a stark contrast from the bachmans and palins and limbaughs that seem to be at the forefront of today's GOP.

but if he's a mormon, forget it.

            it'll never happen.
