0bama's TRUE FAILURES! Take The Blinders Off NOW!! »
Posted By GLee 7 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsDuring the 2008 presidential campaign, people speculated whether someone like Barack Obama, who has never really run anything or had any major achievements other than winning political office, could handle a three AM crisis call. Well, as it turns out, Obama has been such a bumbling incompetent that he probably couldn’t handle a trip through a Wendy’s drive-in window without a teleprompter telling him what to order and whether he wants a Coke or a Mountain Dew. Even though Obama has been in office less than two months, he has already made more boneheaded errors than most Presidents do in an entire term.
My, my........ Can't wait till 2010 and beyond. Lots of 'cleaning up' to do.
During the election, I was stunned by the number of normally Republican voters who voted for Barack Obama. And now I am stunned by the disappointment and surprise that those same Republicans are now expressing in President Obama's actions. They are shocked that the President has signed the enormous stimulus bill, shocked he has signed an enormous budget with 9,000 earmarks after promising to end them, stunned at the number of Obama cabinet candidates that had to drop out for cheating on taxes or for conflicts of interest, stunned that Obama is going to implement job killing cap and trade taxes, stunned that Obama supports the card check union program that will end the secret ballot, and stunned that Obama appears to be way over his head on the most complicated executive job on earth. A perfect example is when Jim Kramer of CNBC who supported Obama, recently screamed on the air that President Obama has destroyed more global wealth then any human in history by his actions in the last 50 days.

The Republican that voted for Obama are surprised at this?
Reply
How on earth could that be? You would have to be a blind nun in a coat closet not to have known Obama has NO experience other than a few days in the senate. I am sorry but being a community organizer, having questionable pals like Wright, Ayers, Farrakhan, ACORN cheating should have been a red flag to make one wonder????
How could you not know this man was not ready for the office of the President? Sara Palin wasn't ready and she had been a governor for years, and at least ran a state. Obama never ran anything and now it shows, badly. -

Obama promises workers at Caterpillar Inc. that his stimulus bill will save their jobs. Uh, not exactly, Caterpillar CEO Jim Owens later clarifies. "The truth is we're going to have more layoffs before we start hiring again," he says, to Obama’s chagrin.

The conclusion of this letter sums it up.

"It proves that emotional and naive hope is no substitute for hard and tough judgment based on facts. Let's just hope that the damage will be reversible."
Very few people looked at Obama's actual record in the IL Senate and the US Senate
All they cared about was the inspiring speeches, cheering crowds chanting "Hope and Change" "Yes We Can"
I've been seeing more of this type of letter in the local papers but this particular letter sums up everything very well -

During debate over the revised stimulus bill, House Minority Leader John Boehner dramatically throws the 1,100-page document to the ground, charging that not a single member of Congress has had time to read the $787 billion spending measure. -

Tea parties? What tea parties? When untold thousands rally nationwide to protest excessive taxation, the White House tries to ignore the whole issue, hoping it will go away.

ABC News reports the president “is unaware of the tea parties."-

I guess it was alright for Bush to use the security and transportation provided for him? You didn't hear us complain about that! It is the responsibility of the secret service and we the people provide and approve of secure transportation and ESPECIALLY approve of the POTUS getting out among the people instead of holing up in the White House or Crawford!

LMAO...really Ranch... that is really stretching. It appears that paranoia is setting in amongst a few of you people. I would suggest that you and Wolfie and a few others go back once in a while and read what each of you have written. It is either paranoia or some other underlying problem that fogs the reality and drives the hatred of Obama within you. It is ashame that this is happening. Sure Obama may have made moves that may not fit well with everyone...but..lets face it , every move and action cannot be wrong. By the posts and comments I have seen that cover such items as "shoes" ..."garden"...etc. i would have to say, the issues are not important to you guys... it is the want to hate that is important.

I know a few Republicans that voted for the Tingle Messiah and they are now beginning to realize that what 'they thought he said' he was going to do was in no way an indication of 'what he would actually do'. PT Barnum, I think, had it right ...'a sucker is born every moment.'

Obama is not perfect. I have a few criticisms of him myself. But, have you noticed that the economy is actually beginning to turn up a bit? If this continues and the various institutions that are getting loans begin to repay them, your claims about the deficit will become greatly exaggerated.

Have you also noticed how much more respect we're getting world wide. Or maybe you don't like that.-

AAAAAnd, I don't think it's paranoia to think that there are things that the President is doing that I don't think are in the best interest of me and the company I work for. That's common sense.
You don't trust him completely, do you? -

Not for my boss, a small businessman. You can bet the unemployment is going keep going up - except of course for government bureaucracy. Looks as if that's Obama's big plan to create all of those jobs - bureaucracy controlling what the citizens do, making sure they don't make too much and making sure they pay their "patriotic" taxes.

Still up to your old tricks you havent got anybody to talk about so you chose it to be OUR PRESIDENT, The only one who's trying to get us out of eight years of pure hel!!,when you grow up and act like adults the truth well slap you right in the face then crying and acting like jerks you'll see you never got you anywhere just like you presious master Bush whom I care nothing about he is the worst president in History. Now my President is going down in History and for all the 8 years he's repaired from our former nutcase that put us in this place. You cant win!!! so why talk about a man who has only been in office a short time and time is that he needs to change what that sicko did to our Nation, the eight years he was in.

Obviously any speak about politics or party is a wash. What about acts of kindness? What about acts of heroism?
What was it about September 11th that brought us together as a country? What was it about the day they pulled baby Jessica out of the well? Seriously, what will unite us?-

the problem is the Republicans have no idea what acts of kindness and heroism means.

We have a man in the White House now that would desperately like to include everyone and reach for those lofty goals....only to be blocked by the loonie right fringe that populates the Republican party and their brainwashed little sheep here on propeller.
Until the Republicans and their ilk decide to play with a full deck, all the pleading, being nice, etc. by Obama will be for naught.
Those of us with a brain cell recognize this. We put up with the drivel from the right for the 8 years Bush was in power. We listened to their hate and ranting against us 'libs'. Revenge is sweet and we're taking our pound of flesh, like it or not. If the cons want to come around and try to be part of the solution rather than the problem, I will applaude them and welcome them into the brotherhood of man as upstanding citizens. But for now, they are fair game! -

That's all the cons have left. They have nothing substantial. No facts. Just opinions. A mind is a terrible thing to waste but then you had to have one in the first place. Anyone that supported the Bush administration never had one to start with and apparently still don't.

I agree. It is the people that voted for Obama. A real President for a change. It truly is a shame that the 21% of the population that admit to being Republicans couldn't try to do something constructive for a change. Now THAT would be refreshing! It certainly can't be done with their current so-called leaders in place. They have got to dump the ultra right wingers and get their party back on track. The usual Propeller cons are part of the problem, not the solution.
