Privatisation NEVER benefits the population as a whole; by definition it only EVER fills up the private coffers of the few.

      As for knowing what I'm talking about - if you'd like to go head-to-head with me I do believe that a straw poll of propeller members would give me more than a slight edge.
      But of course they're all from other countries too - even the NATIVE Americans are assumed to have come from Asia.

    The Boston Globe is in deep financial trouble and this is a prime reason -

The first number is the amount of money the Globe is expected to lose this year without union concessions.     All unsupported nonsense, private fire companies robbed the victims of fire back when they were the norm in N.Y.C., it was so lucrative that various fire brigades would show up and fight over who was going to loot the house...er put out the fire. While some things are indeed the realm of private enterprise and should be. Quite a few things are not.
    They should be publicly funded and not the realm of looters and profiteers.
    Things like police depts., health care, (well proven in this article), I would say energy at this point in our evolution. These things are human necessities that are artificially inflated by speculators and profiteers who could be easily removed from the equation.
