Geek IT Stores, has initiated India`s First Genuine IMEI portal, supporting the Indian Govt. & DOT ban on illegal china mobiles. As per April 30th, all illegal smuggled china phones will be rendered useless ,as they will lose network connectivity.
Currently over 8% of mobile subscribers are using china mobiles. Telecom service providers like Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL have started deactivating fake IMEI handsets.
" As we are a legal genuine IMEI importer & manufacturer, we welcome the decison to ban the fake imei mobiles, after this news confirmation our franchise business has quadrapled" says Amit Nayak, CEO Geek IT Stores.
