How would you employ force in Pakistan? That would go over really well. This war must be fought by the Pakistani army which has been reluctant to date to remove troops from the border with India and pursue an internal problem. Their hand is being forced now. The last thing we want to do is land troops in Pakistan without their permission and take control of yet another Muslim country. That would be seriously stupid.
