Absolutely right Radio...if this isn't a fair warning of what to expect if the Patriot Act is not revoked I don't know what is.

We need to repeal the "Patriot" Act.
There is nothing Patriotic about denying a citizen their Constitutional Rights

I guess saying the government under this new administration is no better than the Bush Administration if they do nothing about this freedom robbing law is spam.
Wake up America we are being sent down the road of Fascism very quickly. -

It wasn't just the politicians tadair919...arguments you wouldn't believe raged across this forum back when it was still Netscape over the "Patriot" Act.

There were people who went on endlessly about how no one had lost any freedom or was gonna lose any...Total gung-ho support for it. It was gonna help the get back at the terrorist and if you were against it you may as well be hung for Treason.
Well, the Chicken has come home to roost and I am plenty ****** off. People were warned and warned and warned again that this would happen.
It's time to end the Patriot Act and they can do the same with the Military Commissions Act.
They are both miscarriages of Justice.

Well I guess your right, rarely does anything done by government actually work.

The Great Society that Johnson created has cost us over $12 trillion and there are more poor then ever.
Using Canada or the UK, national health does not work. But there are many on the left who feel we need it. So in the next few months we will have a government forced HMO run by the same folks working the counters at the DMV or Post Office.
Public Schools. Need I say more?

I was poking around at Govtrac.us and I found these three bills.

Most folks that know me here should know that I am usually careful not to get partisan.
These bills are sponsored by republicans. The first two kind of link to this conversation, the third one took me by surprise.-

So where are we America? The bad guys are now good. The good guys are now bad. Our old allies are left behind and old enemies are now are trusted friends. Does any out there see this? We release the names and photos of Americans protecting us and our prisoners are being released. Wow what would our fore fathers think of us now?
