I agree that marriage at late age is way better than at 20s. I was married when I was 16 and my husband was 23. Now, after 5 years of marriage, we are still struggling to discover who we are. We are confused most of the time, unable to give judgments about the situations that raises. Sometimes, we wish we can leave each other for like 10 years, and then re-married again. Love before marriage can cause the person to dream too much and to live the love fantasy, but reality is what's true, and daydreaming takes no one no where.

I got marriage at 24. I did everything I could to be a good husband. The marriage was one sided, I could never make her happy. I went through that for five years. It has been 30 years since the divorce, I'm currently under medical care for all the mental damage she did to me.

If anyone is going to get married... look at it like taking your life and life savings, going to Vegas and betting on black... you could win big, or lose big!

A thought!! half of marriages end in divorce, that does not mean that all of the remaining half is happy....

I guss It's who you ask. People never know what could have been. Try telling a young person they should wait. They want do it.

I got married at 19 she was 17 after seeing each other every second we could for 5 years. We had a plan and stuck too it. we had 3 children by the time I was 25. Our plan was to have them early raise them and be done raising the children while we were still young enough to travel and do whatever we so chose to do. All was working fine until she passed away at 33 from a brain aneurysm.

It was very hard early on but we made do. Things got easier on us each year.

Would it have been better to wait? Never know will I. I tend to think I would do it all over again avoiding a couple of the larger mistakes I made, but marriage wasn't one of them. I would not recommend getting married that young to anyone. But for some it's fine

onesource sounds like they are sixteen or just got marriage. More women are killed by people they had loved than by strangers
