Well one inaccuracy, maybe..

It may have changed since I was last there - at least 10 years ago - but Cafe Fanny was actually made as a breakfast place for Alice herself to enjoy privately, before dealing with her other responsibilities.
Like Chez Panisse, it was named after a character in one of Marcel Pagnol's books - and her daughter is also called Fanny.
