See what happens when you turn a bunch of ignorant, backwoods rednecks loose with a gun?? And then these people scream and cry about their right to bear arms.. AGAINST CHILDREN!
It's no better in the inner cities with kids killing eachother. These are the best reasons i can think of for fire arm regulations, because it's happening wayyyy too much!-

We already have fire arm regs Needy and it doesn't stop idiots from killing for no good reason. When you say reg, do you talk about regulation or trying to take everyone's guns away? I'm interested what your thoughts of what these additional reg would do.

Does any of the regs we have now require people to have the sense to know when the use of a gun is needed and when it's not?? Are there any kind of requirements concerning the owners mental capacity?? You can tell by what these people did and just looking at these people's pictures they're not sane.. What are the regs on that?

Yeah they look rough, just as many do in police photos.
You do know they have a thing in the regs called background check don't you? They check all your records.
Besides who's going to judge their sanity, some board of psychologists that look at voing records and assume all on the right are insane, since we know theor in such thing as insane people that voted Democrat?-

So you think what these people did was an act of complete sanity, is that what you're saying.. I'm wrong to assume that they are crazy for shooting children that they though MAY be trespassing and destroying a levy, but you assume that they are sane and have the right to do this??? Which is it?? If can't be both ways!-

Now we do know that one isn't supposed to just go around shooting people. But in this state you have the right to protect your property and life with deadly force.
There in no doubt that they over reacted. However, a levy denotes a boudy of water behind it and if that was so, and they thought the kids actions would cause a wall of water to head towards their house and endangering them, that would denote a threat to their lives.
Of course these two were wrong for killing them IMO, but were they insane because YOU don't like the way they look?
You are typical of the anti-gun crowd. You will use any story, talk about the way they look as a way that says ALLLLL those crazy gun owners as you try and paint Millions of people with the same brush so you can have an excuse to try and remove guns from the society.
Fortunately, their are enough law abiding Americans agree with the second amendment that as of now, you will not get your wish, no matter how hard you try.-

Di would you kill a child if you thought they were going to kill you? What if you saw a child with a bomb strapped to them and they had their finger on a detonator button, you had a gun. Would you die or kill that 'child'?

Well, yes and no. For instance there are regulations that require federal background checks, but those are criminal background checks and don't involve check of mental health of a buyer. So if a criminal who is not in NCIS database or a mentally deranged person whose mental health never been assessed is buying a gun then they'll easily pass the background check.
Moreover, according to gun ownership statistics there are 90 guns per 100 people in US and only 100 million NICS background approvals have been made, so there are quite a few individuals out there with guns who haven't gone through a federal background check it seems.
Furthermore, here are Texas gun regulations:
State Permit to Purchase? NO
Firearm registration? NO
"Assault weapon" law? NO
Owner license required? NO
Carry permits issued? Only for handguns, not for shotguns as in this case.
State Preemption of local restrictions? YES, local restriction on gun ownership is prohibited
NFA weapons restricted? NO
Peaceable Journey laws? YES
Castle Doctrine? YES

So there are plenty of gun regulation laws that would have to pass to even start suggesting that "The only 'regs' left is taking them".
What concerns the matter of mental health of the suspects, then there are at least two pieces of evidence to put in question how mentally stable they are. One is the sign that reads "Trespassers will be shot. Survivers will be reshot!! Smile I will.", the other is their views that destruction of levees, which are not even on their property warrants death without so much as a warning shot, both of the notions are not sane.
