I have fibromyalgia and I can say it is not in my head. There are parts of my back that I cannot even touch, let alone someone else touch, without extreme pain. I am on many medications to help ease the pain, but there are some days when it hurts to get out of bed. Fibromyalgia does exist and there are many sufferers. Those doctors who think it does not, pick up a recent medical book, I am sure you will find it there! I am glad that the doctor I have is more than willing to help me with my condition and even asks me how I am when I take my children to see him.
