The Bolong Herefords Cattle Herd was founded by the late Russell Croker.
1961-1999
The herd was established and nurtured in the cold country of Taralga New South Wales.
During this time there were 30 annual on-property bull sales, and many successes at
the Australian Royal Shows.
2000
Most of the registered females were sold retaining a select herd to continue breeding
bulls for our commercial buyers.
2005
Re-located the herd to "Ivanhoe" THE ROCK, NSW. We continue to breed bulls for
commercial buyers and with a small number of registered females; we focus on high
quality stud bulls.
Through selection of top sires from Australia, Canada and New Zealand, we are proceeding
with a herd program to move us forward into Australia?s beef future.
