Health care companies treat womens health different far beyond the rate differences. Many helth problems that only affect women are not covered by basic health care plans, such as bithing costs, birth control and other reproductive related costs - women must purchase additional coverage for these things. On the other hand they will provide coverage for men on things that only affect men such as ED.

Beyond that a woman who is at risk for cancer can have one exam a year - if something is wrong additional exams are generally not covered. Are there situations when a man is told not to follow up on a cancer risk - or to pay it on their own if they do? Not likely. It is time that the government does something about the health care discrimination women face and stop acting like womens helth issues are separate from any other health issue.
