The oceans are cooling. Have been for 6 or 7 years. That is not supposed to be happening. According to AGW theory.

But as every one knows. The oceans are wrong and he theory is right. Why don't people have any FAITH in totally accurate computer models? The science is settled.

Al Gore won a Nobel Prize. CO2 caused global warming must be true.

BS>>..the storms do most/ or all of the coastal damage.

they have not shown anything that would validate the rising of the oceans enough to "erode" the shorelines. this is a guardian "special" information.

90%+ of conventional scientists say "global warming is a fact".It isn't just a "Guardian",or left wing thing.I think it's more complex then just a co2 thing. There are other elements involved,I'm sure.I know of natural warming cycles,I know the sun-spot cycle too,I also know that in the 70's there was talk of a mini ice-age.However billions of tonnes of crap pumped into the atmosphere,is having some effect. It's a question of whether the sea's will rise by 2-3 centimeters,or 40-50 centimeters. When people mess up the environment, nature has a way of leveling things out.If man doesn't harmonize with nature, humanity will be in trouble.
The arguments about dioxins and DDT had naysayers too. When cancers and deaths followed, they just grew quiet and pretended they were always against these harmful chemicals.
As for shore line damage, here in the UK,large parts of the East Anglian,Lincolnshire and Yorkshire shores, show bad erosion. The government's environment agency say's, "the UK will need to spend several billion pounds,on coastal protection over the next decade".There are large numbers of islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, that will be inhabitable within a decade. Now it may be that it would have happened, without human interference. The same is true with the melting ice caps and raising temperatures. There are more and more Mediterranean life forms, found in the seas of Northern Europe, this may have happened without human interference too.I could bring out loads of more examples, each one makes the odds longer on all these things happening without human caused pollution. When all is calculated, the odds that climate change has nothing to go with human behavior, grows slighter by the second.I don't try and change the naysayer's minds,I don't care. The argument has been won years and years ago.At last governments, industry and the open minded all agree something has to be done and the money will be made available.
Of course,if you think otherwise, just keep dumping stuff over the hill,in the sea,in the air, anywhere you can't see it.
