starbucks overroasts, i don't go to mcdonald's for coffee, if ever, and dunkin donuts makes a decent cup of joe, but i'm rarely there...

Hi DR! I can't stand Starbucks for 2 reasons.

      1. Their coffee is not over-roasted it is BURNT!

      2. A cup of coffee should not cost more than my mortgage.

        1) I like Starbucks. I don't find it burnt, that would be Stone Creek or Gloria Jean.

        2) The Venti is $2.00. If that's your monthly mortgage cost, you need to get a better cardboard box to live in.... Just kidding.

          Hi BB64,

Maybe it's just in my area (though I doubt it), but a plain ole cup of black coffee is $3.50 for a 12 oz cup. I get my 24 oz coffee at WaWa for $1.54.

And for the record I live in a rather upscale box......it's a Thomasville furniture box!!!

When they were open, they're coffee was weak and flavorless. All but one closed in our state.

The Sludge Guzzler says: Starbucks is way over priced but tolerable, Dunkin Donuts is like drinking swamp water, and McDonalds (in Seattle) serves Seattle's Best which is very good. Here in Minneapolis, Dunn Brothers is the best (in my opinion). Haven't tried McDonalds here. No point. We have Dunn Bros. Right, CM?

the best coffee is from Dunkin Donuts
                            McDonalds is # 2
And if I worked in a Garage, I would use Starbucks to loosen up rusty bolts and screws. Starbucks tastes like the canal water with flooding rubbers inthe red light district in Amsterdam Holland.
