Is Dick Cheney Running for President in 2012? | Democracy and Elections | AlterNet »
Posted By splitrch 5 months, 4 weeks ago in Political NewsJust a few days ago, Dick Cheney explained his belief that it's time for some of the older establishment Republican voices to exit the stage. " I think periodically we have to go through one these sessions. It helps clear away some of the underbrush," the former vice president said, adding, " Some of the older folks who've been around a long time -- like yours truly -- need to move on and make room for that young talent that's coming along."

Highly unlikely yet amusing to consider. One can only hope the former VP takes the plunge. If Cheney runs for President it will be the final nail in the Republican coffin. He can't be that out of touch, can he? In any case I doubt the party would allow it.

Oh please. Chenney reminds me of that deranged mentality willing to dip America in blood in order to "save" it. The type to think that the quote "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the Blood of Patriots and tyrants" means implementing order through force and death, so as to prevent us from slipping into complacency and keep us on our toes. Have a constructive retirement for crying out loud. Like Bill Clinton said "It's over".

Cheney sent 5000 solderiers to their death to invade Iraq, inorder to make Big Oil richer, and Israel happy. It was the Zionist Neocons of Cheney's administration who thought up the destruction of Iraq, for the benifit of Israel, Big Oil, and the massive War Profiteers.
Cheney represents big oil and warprofiteers.
And how could you possibly be defending this mass murdering coward chicken hawk draft dodging psychopath? -

Cheney would be 100 times better and safer for the US homeland defense and the economy than Obama who is economically, culturally and militarily incompetent. Obama is destroying our economy, military, national security.Obama was a community disorganizer and a vote present senator . Are you surprised that the economy is getting worse, the unemployment rising,so FAR no stimulus bills worked. INSTEAD we got a massive spending, porks and tripling of our national debt in just 100 days.THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY IS INEVITABLE. It is always a part of the boom[recovery] and bust[recession] cycles since the birth of our country just like the housing and stock markets. The problem is when recovery comes we will have massive hyperinlation, very high interest rates, very high taxes. We would have been better off if Obama did nothing. Obama and the democratic congress and senate are pathological liars. They lied and did the opposite of all their campaign promises.Democrats are now synonymous with lying, corruption, incompetence, weak national security and foreign policy, tax cheating, arrogance, anti-America,anti-military and anti-veterans.Obama lied about close associations with Ayers,Wright,Rezko,Blago,Acorn and muslims.
