Support the banks is right. The reason the announcements were delayed was that banks squawked about the amount of capital they would have to raise and got the feds to water down the "worst-case" scenario so the banks could skate on what the real results showed:

This sounds suspiciously like the big bank version of a liar loan. Our income and ability to pay is what we say it is.
I voted for Obama because I wanted change. I'm not seeing nearly enough.

I still think those that should have failed, should have been allowed to. We are spoiling the system and guaranteeing that those that run it will learn only that the government will save them when they do something incredibly stupid. That will almost certainly assure stupidity will continue to prevail.

Walk a single individual dollar from it place of printing etc. to a bank...then into the hand of a person who gives the dollar to another person to return it to the bank...(1) WHAT DID THIS PROVE?

Now look at the bank overhead, the employment of the one who is called a teller...the one whop is the tax expert, the additional ones that are there to again give the dollar back to the same man that first had the doallar..., but what qualified the first man to recieve a dollar? It's liken what was first...the hen or the egg? Plus why go to this trouble? When we all could be on vacation one day...untill we were needed to work again...that would be a sign of management. -
