Like the rest of us, I ignore the elephant in the room,

and no one can see the 6-foot rabbit,
and the monster under the bed is an old friend,
and the skeleton in the closet is an old enemy,
and the wolf at the door is still outside,
and the camel only has his nose under the tent,
- I have no plans or experience with the sudden appearance of
a panda.
I think I would offer it tea. -

Interesting that around 1949 I was in a Lutheran school (6th-7th grade). The teacher Mr. Sager told us about a trend and theory he had. It was that the great empires had moved west through history. Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Spanish, British, then the United States. He pointed on a map of the world and said the next one would be Japan! That was when they had just been defeated and were producing cheap stuff, no cars yet. He was right. He didn't say China, but that is next as you go west. How did he know? Although the past empires are still viable countries now they are shadows of their former greatness as the U.S is heading toward.

Americans are decended from Europe, in culture if not actual ancestry.

So we see the history of the world in terms of european greatness moving west.
But you would have a diferent view of the pattern of history if you were Chinese.
There was a larger, more advanced Chinese empire at the same time as the Roman empire..
And after the Romans, western europe spent centuries in a dark age
while the eastern Byzantine world flourished.
As for the Australians and the Aztecs, they just don't much care for the theory at all. -

thats called fact manipulation. First dynasty was Assyrian in Middle East, then Persia east of that, then Roman west of that, then Mongol/Hun east of that. Spain, which is west of Britain, came before Britain, and France also was before Britain and is also east of Britain. And Japan was an empire before we defeated them in the South Pacific, but now theyre the furthest thing from an empire. An empire is based on land acquisition and subjugation of native people, something Japan does not do. You, my friend, are a moron
