    There has already been an island,where it's inhabitants have been moved to New Caledonia,through rising oceans.
    This isn't saying "all is well",just that there is now a more sophisticated method of calculation.
    Unless there is a major change in human behavior,there is going to be a major disaster.Human ingenuity could help,like when there was a virtual ban on CFC's,the ozone hole,in the South Atlantic dramatically shrank.That was a rare case of humanity working together,for the greater good.We are going to have to work as a unified force,if we are going to solve the global crisis that is here now.
    I have long given up trying to change the naysayers minds,I'll go along with the 99% of scientists
    who all recognize we are in a warming World.

      If there is a "global crisis", it is overfishing and trash, but you hear very very little about it.
      
      In the 100-200 years they speak of, we may have destroyed the fish population.
      
      We also need to learn how to burn trash to create electricity without polluting.
      
      CO2 is not the problem ...

      I don't pay much attention to LRF either. You do have a valid point simonsez. Overfishing and dumping waste into the oceans is a very big problem
