I can't imagine wasting this much time discussing it. It's as stupid as when Bush Sr. was in office, and we spent 4 years discussing flag burning.
There will always be gay people in the world, we might as well accept this. Once we realize this fact, there is no reason to stop them from having the same legal benefits that stem from marriage that the rest of us are privileged to.
