Good questions jim but are they actually relevant to the present moment in time?

A similar question applies to the article - does it REALLY indocaate aany fundamental agreement, one which would stand the test of time and lead to a long-term rapprochement?
Not the way I read it!
Much more like a litmus test for what common interests MIGHT exist, nothing tangible concerning what to do about them if in fact there are any.
It certainly didn't make me jump up and down in gleeful optimism.-

no, not at all. this is a propaganda piece in a murdoch paper for netanyahu. it's just more of the same ol' tired jockeying for the moral high ground and victory in the popularity contests before war begins. bush played the same game when he and rice presumed to speak for the "international community." now netanyahu presumes to speak for the "arab nations." a stretch if ever i saw one
he is trying to say that iran is isolated. nothing could be further from the truth. it has both china and russia on its side, and when it comes down to the wire he won't have the arabs either unless we can pay them off for him
oh, and iran is trading oil in euros, just like saddam tried to do prior to our invasion. minor detail but worth noting
