Posted By STONERS 7 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsNigeria’s rebel Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta said it damaged two pipelines supplying oil and natural gas from a Chevron Corp. facility to domestic refineries and power stations. Two Filipino hostages were also killed in fighting with government troops.

"Attacks including hijackings and pipeline damage by armed groups in the southern delta, home to Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, have cut oil exports by more than 20 percent since 2006. Nigeria is Africa’s leading oil producer and the fifth- biggest source of U.S. oil imports."
