Wind River Range is part of Rocky Mountains which runs from North West part to south east part of Wyoming State. Gannett Peak is the highest peak in the range of Wind River Range and it is about 4207 m in height. There are more than 40 peaks in Wind River Range which are about 13000ft high. The area of mountain range is covered with dense forests having diversity of flora and fauna. Wind River Range in short is called Winds. There are two large national forests which occupy large part of the Wind River Range. Shoshone national forest and Bridger-Teton National forests are the two popular national forests situated on this mountain range.
