Then out of no where a little old lady, who can bearly see over the dashboard of her own car pulls out in front of you, in her rosey red toyota shopping trolly or suzuki swift (what an ironic name) then proceeds to engage maximum warp of 26Mph?

My favorite is the old men who drive in the fast lane at exactly the legal speed and refuse to move over to the right so people can get by. Meanwhile, slower traffic on the right make it impossible to get around him. It's their revenge for getting old, I think.

WOW do you have them in the UK too? I thought they had all migrated to Australia.

This has been a problem down under for some time. Some states have even introduced legislation with fines and loss of demerit points for drivers who sit in the overtaking lane whilst not overtaking.
I was recently cautioned by a highway patrol officer for coming up behind and flahing my lights at one of our "model citizens" who was driving along a 110 kph expressway in the overtaking lane at the breakneck speed of 90 kph which just happened to be the same speed as the fully loaded truck next to him in the other lane. When I asked the officer if he was going to caution the "offending" driver I was simply told to drive safely and have a nice day.
