when they promise to hold a trial for some of them in a just a few more years it's called "granting detainee's expanded civil rights."

And what did you expect? "Change you can believe in?" That would be change not promised by a political candidate.

Seriously, the governmental, economic, environmental and social aspects of our common lives in this country are in sad shape, unacceptable, so much that the status quo can be accurately characterized as a machine of war, death and torture. Most of us get that, and yet the liberal bent is to endlessly catalog the various ills as if they are unconnected, and bitch about them as if bitching about them were the key to positive change.

Understand that endless war, torture, the wholesale imprisonment of our fellow man, the war on the earth and its creatures by Monsanto and Dow, these are not separate ills but the multiple manifestations of a diseased culture.

We must decolonize our minds! Reject the death culture into which we have been inculcated since birth. Find others like-minded. Drop out of the death culture and begin building the future.

The most effective blow you can strike against the death culture is to deprive it of your participation, and to encourage others to do likewise.

nature( little boy)Do I glean from your comment, that if a terrorist is in the process of decapitating your wife, and children your going to let them know you are not going to object, for the simple reason that fighting them would only encourage more violence.I pray to God for your family because they can be robbed, raped, and murdered, while you enjoy your principles.
