My lap top has window vista but it was already set up when I took it out of the box,I havent had to pay for any windows yet, the warenty covers all this I guess and it makes sure its up to date. I have had it for three years now and never was interested in it untill I ran across propeller, now uou cant get me off unless I am sick or something I have to do. But thanks for the info. good article.
