It doubled as a self defense weapon.
It must have weighed more than a modern laptop.
Things have changed really quickly.I have a friend that has his fathers first PC,a veritable antique from around 1989.
It's CPU is 30 MHz,it was totally maxed with ram,all 4 Megs of it and had a 10" CRT display with green,red,black and white.
When I compare it to my quad core @ 2.66GHz,3 gigs of ram,24" HD 24 bit display and a HD Radeon 4870 with a gig of memory,it makes me realise just how quickly technology h aschanged.
It took 66 years from the Wright Brothers first flight, to man landing on the moon.In the last 20 years cell phones and PC's and other gadgets,have done the equivalent, in less than a third of the time.
