Posted By pc25 5 months, 4 weeks ago in NewsDang. I was hoping they'd include the part where Pelosi started seeing things and jumped at the podium.
Oh well.

Video: GOP having way too much fun with Pelosi’s ongoing meltdown
Reply
I was going to say “GOP having way too much fun making Pelosi look like an idiot,” but they haven’t done anything to make her look bad here except stitch together her stupidest utterances.

--Ahhh...Excellent point, pc...We're all still scratching our heads trying to figure out why the GOP LOST the November Presidential Election spectacularly (by 11 MILLION votes--how disgraceful, and telling, huh?) and why Republicans have since been fleeing the party like someone on a hunting trip with Dick Cheney. As this video demonstrates, Republicans are absolutely ready to lead our country and we should trust them to make sound decisions. ;-P

Amid Queries, CIA Worries About Future
Intelligence Officials Privately Warn That New Rules May Hinder Their Interrogations
Battered by recriminations over waterboarding and other harsh techniques sanctioned by the Bush administration, the CIA is girding itself for more public scrutiny and is questioning whether agency personnel can conduct interrogations effectively under rules set out for the U.S. military, according to senior intelligence officials.
Harsh interrogations were only one part of its clandestine activities against al-Qaeda and other enemies, and agency members are worried that other operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan will come under review, the officials said.
way to go DEMS........one of the issues during the 2008 elections was National Defense......seems people were right

Again, another post by another right wing sycophant for Cheney, a torture supporter.
Reply
PC believes, and it is evident in every post, that only middle and working classes are subject to law, the rich and PC Messaih, the mass murdering chicken hawk coward and traitor, Dick Cheney, are above the law.
So, to defend his totalitarial dream of militaristic overthrow of democracy by the mercinaries owned by the rich, PC has summitted another strawman to be torn apart by the pack of hyena sycophant faux noise Oxy Cottonballs thugs and cowards that remain as the party of greed and feer, the repugs.

Well ... if being contemptible ... and being a LIAR gets your ire up ...
Reply
... why did you never complain about George W. Bush & Dick Cheney?
They KNEW that there was no connection between Nigeria and Saddam Hussein ... and yet they LIED to instill a fear into the public ... so that we could commit vast amounts of YOUR taxpayer money into a goofy Nation Building scheme.
Plus ... over 4,000 American men and women DIED in that fiasco known as Iraq.
In fact, MORE Americans died in IRAQ ... than in the World Trade Center Bombing on 9/11.
And yet ... you get your panties all twisted about Pelosi?
It's non-sensical.
It's Morally Vacant.

Meanwhile, those of us (majority) that read other than milita pamplets passed out by Tim McVey supporters and right wing anti american terrorists, can see that each day, another congressman, both repug and dem, come out and say CIA misled congress.
Reply
Why aren't you swiftboating the repug congressman saying the CIA lied, you hypocrite?
Cowards will never admit their policies caused the biggest economic and military disasters in the history of this country, because they are incapable of taking responisibilty for anything.
Repugs are incapable of objectivity, and incapable of governance. They have only one principle, make the rich richer. Its genetic, they can't help it.

Why do you say that?

The ACLU bailed out The Right Wing Messiah ... Rush Limbaugh ... when HE got into a bit of trouble for his illegal activities.
See?
You've just GOT to stop seeing things as Black & White.
Life just isn't like that.
.
Well, I don't know about the FANTASY LIFE y'all appear to be living ... but in REAL life ... it's not Black and White like that.

Klarissa, the only purpose of the ACLU is to protect citizens' rights as spelled out in the Bill of Rights. Should you ever need your rights defended, who's going to do it -- Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter, Hannity, O'Reilly?
Reply
Or maybe you're one of those who would gladly give up their rights for the Republican Party, huh?

Excellent choice of words, nostalgia.
The Modern Right in America embraces an Ideology that is BUILT on Fear.
Instilling Fear and ABOMINABLE Consequences are around every corner.
That is the mind set of the Modern Republican.
THAT is what I find so distressing about y'all.
How can y'all live like that ... always looking for something to be frightened about ....
American can NEVER attain higher quality of life ... can never elevate our society ... with your constant fear mongering.
It's really quite sad.
I'm rally sad for y'all.
Y'all live in a constant state of fear.

Most sane Americans recognize that Torture produces far more negatives than positives.
Reply
The Modern Republican only likes to endorse terror because of their soul's "State of Sickness".
Generals,
Lieutenant Generals,
Major Generals,
Colonels,
Lieutenant Colonels,
Majors,
Captains,
First Lieutenants,
Second Lieutenants, ...
the vast majority of soldiers ...
Tacticians,
CIA folks,
FBI folks,
ALL of our allies in Europe and Asia ...
They ALL recognize Torture as a useless technique that produces absolutely NO effective, reliable results.
And yet ... the 'Sickness of your Soul" ... is such that ... YOU ALL want to SUPPORT Torture because a blip of an 8 year Neo-Conservative Administration overturned 200 years of American Pride and Morality.
Y'all have sold your soul to Fear Mongers and "Sick Mindedness".
Y'all have become 'Tools'.

...but they do not all agree we are using torture. Most of them believe that waterboarding, as applied by the United States, is a safe form of interrogation.
And look at this. Poll: Don't investigate torture techniques
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/05/06/po...
FTA:
"Roughly one in five Americans believe those techniques were torture but nonetheless approve of the decision to use those procedures against suspected terrorists," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "That goes a long way toward explaining why a majority don't want to see former Bush officials investigated."
Summary.
Approx. 20% believed those techniques were torture.
Approx. 60% believe that some of the techniques, including waterboarding, were a form of torture.
57% do not want the Bush White House investigated.
50% vs. 46% approve of the use of torture against suspects, if necessary.
Now imagine if only those people on your list were polled.

Ms. Pelosi is demonstrating why she should not be Speaker of the House her memory has deteriorated and her dementia is obvious to everyone. It's either that or she's lying either way she should not be 3rd in line for the Presidency of the United States.

Yeah - that's the spirit - don't criticise those who initiated the perversity ... glom onto anyone else - that way - those who initiated this perversion face no consequences.
Reply
Hey, I believe some of the house-keeping people may have seen them "Torture Memos" when they cleaned up the Oval Office ... maybe we should go after them too!
But not the original perverts ... no ... not them .... they are no longer in office ... we must not consider them ... that was all of ..... let's see .... 120 days ago.

There's at least one reason why "Queen Nancy" (at least in her own mind) will not readily resign:
Reply
She WILL NOT GIVE UP "her plane."
You know, the one she asked for specifically because the one used by previous Speakers of the House for years JUST WASN'T BIG ENOUGH!!!!!
No, she won't easily give up the "perks" for which she so vigorously fought!
Even in the face of the obvious need(s) for her to do so!!!!!!! -

I guess this all come down to who do you believe: Pelosi or Panetta? Geez that's a tough one, what's a good Obamaton to do? Maybe Barack Lincoln is spinning some masterful political plot that we mere citizens can't comprehend?
Reply
Another tough one: Do you support releasing Gitmo guys without a plan or supporting the knuckleheads in Congress who want a plan? -
