for breeding strategies and breeding stock selection. Though there
exists more scientific methods for genetic prediction, this is one
of the easiest charts to use for quickly estimating coration. The
outer ring in the first row of the chart shows the visible labrador
retriever coat color with the small upper right circle showing the
nose color (black or liver). The inner rings in the first row of
the chart show the hidden color genes carried by the labrador retriever.
Entries in the chart show the probabilities of producing various
coat colors within a labrador retriever litter.
