CNN Poll: Favorable Opinion Of Dick Cheney On The Rise »
Posted By TimALoftis 8 months, 3 weeks ago in Political NewsThe same day Dick Cheney delivered a major speech on the battle against terrorism, a new national poll suggests that favorable opinions of the former vice president are on the rise.
But the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Wednesday morning, indicates that a majority of Americans still have an unfavorable opinion of Cheney.
Fifty-five percent of people questioned in the poll say they have an unfavorable opinion of the former vice president. Thirty-seven percent say they have a favorable opinion of Cheney, up eight points from January when he left office.

There are lotsa white supremacists that still love Hitler too. Cheney is a war criminal, now a private citizen, and is being promoted by the media mogals to create controversy to sell their commecials.

Give us dirty laundry. James Bond is nothing without his super villins, get Cheney on the split screen, can't you hear Murdock, the foreign national unimaginably greedy withered con, scheming and plotting how to whip us some ratings based on fear the loathing of his faithful lemmings?-

You could use that same line to explain Obamas poll rating too ABW. And if you're implying that Cheney supporters are white supremacists than you are every bit as much of a nut job as the 9/11 "truthers".

Just waiting for the cons to come on this page and start trumpeting a poll result. This poll (as well as most other polls) is meaningless. Since 63% of Americans (also from a recent CNN poll) believe Obama has America headed in the right direction apparently the whole spectrum is now covered. The numbers then frankly look horrible for the GOP.

And if it is Cheney behind whom they choose to coalesce they are indeed in serious trouble. These would mean the lunatic fringe has won out on the Right. Nothing has changed. Cheney is still espousing the policies of his apparent hero, Hermann Goering. For why else would he choose to use such similar strategies?
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
In essence a summation of Cheney's recent words (although Obama is hardly a pacifist). I can only pity whatever percentage bow before someone of such thinking. They have swallowed this thinking hook, line and sinker. Isn't it now blatantly clear who was in fact in charge of our foreign policy from 9/11/01 forward? -

The scary thing is that Cheney is still playing the game of fear to gain power he started following 9/11 and its working on some people again... There will always be those who can be swayed by fear but I remain optimistic that the majority of the nation has seen the error of trading freedom for safty - and then ending up with neither.

Well I'm shocked. I never thought the Communist News Network would ever release a poll like that. I figured they would do a NYT thing and kill it. U know, like the story about the connection between Obama bin Laden and ACORN? Sounds like someone at CNN slipped up big time. That person will probably get labelled a neocon and then executed.
