I will never understand how people can continue to trust and remain loyal to an institution that continually proves itself unworthy of neither trust nor loyalty from any of its followers. How many children have to suffer the terrors of abuse before people wake up and demand accountability from those committing such horrific acts? Even this report, while shedding light on abuses, falls short of holding anyone actually accountable. No names are given. Only the victims are known, not the perpetrators. How is that justice? And how can people who align themselves with this organization continue to when this is the repeated stance of their church....that the protection of pedophile predators is ALWAYS more important than the safety and wellness of its parishioners who pay the bills through their tithes, etc. I am not criticizing anyone's religion here, but I do question the sanity of such a choice when the prevailing theme appears to be pedophilia and abuse of the youngest and more vulnerable in the group.

Celibacy does not work, you can't have a permanently horny pedophile unable to control himself in charge of children, what kind of idiot would ever leave a priest alone with a child?

What kind of psychopathic organization from the dark ages is Catholicism? 100% run by homosexuals and pedophiles, like some bizzare cult, wearing robes and having secret ceremonies and raping children, then turning around and proclaiming that birth control is immoral.
