JERUSALEM, May 21 (Reuters) - The U.S. administration of President Barack Obama will not force Israel to state publicly whether it has nuclear weapons, an Israeli official said on Thursday.
He said Washington would stick to a decades-old U.S. policy of "don't ask, don't tell".

Tell me WHY? Why are there special rules - kid gloves, if
you will, when dealing with Israel? The U.S. has been walking
on eggshells a long time - I THOUGHT it was going to change??
We must play by rules here that simply do not apply to Israel
and this is okay with my government? With a majority of Americans?
Is it?? AND we're supplying them with military aid - 3 billion
plus a year??
It hasn't exactly been a good week for those of us who
were an important and vital part of "somebody's" BASE.
I have seen issues that were VERY important to me taken
off the table.........I feel that a lot of CRUMBS have
been directed my way lately. Maybe I judge too rashly -
could be a period of adjustment, but it feels so samo-samo. -

have a price..........not for the media conglomerates, but for the citizens.
If they can't keep the public uninformed - they keep us misinformed.
Plus the Israeli lobby has more organizations than I can count to critque
journalists. CAMERA - is priceless! If a journalist has ever even hinted
that Israel made a poor decision...............they are totally trashed.
What's really creepy is how diligent they are - they don't seem to miss
any word spoken about Israel or the Palestinians. Makes you wonder
just how many people are assigned to the job?
McCarthy-esque to the max!

Just emphasizes again that it is time to get the israel-firsters out of our government, both political parties and our media. Americans should be ashamed that israel-first parasites on our democracy have been able to stop us from applying the basic principles of american democracy (simple things like equal rights for all indpendent of race or religon) to our actions viz-a-viz Palestine.
