All it is, is money just like if someone in the hoospital is dieing they well call them a NO CODE nothing for pain or anything, unless the family says they well pay the bill then they well give them something for pain and do more for them but not that much more, they are still a No Code do nothing to try to bring them back.

          FALSE.

A quick search of the medical literature will give you the reasons why virtual-colonoscopy is not yet competitive with traditional colonoscopy.

"Despite the current "publicity", many issues concerning CT colonography remain. As of 2009, the following topics are of paramount importance: (1) accuracy, including both sensitivity and specificity, (2) bowel preparation (3) safety, (4) extracolonic findings (5) patient acceptability, (6) training and standardization, and (7) implementation of CT colonography." From Rockey, DC "CT Colonography: Current Perspectives and Future Directions". Gasteroenterology May 15, 2009 issue.

What you reference is a comparison of the merits and disadvantages of traditional vs. virtual colonoscopy....doesn't address that MEDICARE (the government administered health insurance plan for the elderly and disabled) won't pay for it.
