The BBC reports that many of the videos began with footage appropriate for children before the "graphic sex acts" began. The videos appear to be part of a coordinated attack from an online community called 4Chan. The group describes itself as being the "home of the sickest, strangest, and most horrifying stuff on the Internet." One of the group's members, contacted by a BBC reporter, said the attack was meant to prove that not even a major Web site owned by Google could completely control its content.
