This piece has a personal and a very special meaning to me. Before my mother passed away, we went to a Debussy concert at The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, Florida. Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun was one of the featured selections. My mother was instrumental in helping me develop an appreciation for the arts; at an early age she would take me into Manhattan, where I got the chance to see so many great paintings. I was lucky to have been raised by such a wonderful and loving woman. I hope you all enjoy this video.

I love Debussy. Especially his "Sunken Cathedral". Of course, I have a hard to holding back tears when hearing it now, being that my grandmother use to play it well, and, well, she's no longer here. I have her playing the "Sunken Cathedral" on video I took over her over 20 years ago. I consider it the best of all my videos I've made now.

I love DeBussy's: "Arabesque in E" myself,he's one of my more moderate favorite composers. Thanks for the nice piece SC.

You're mother must've been one in a million. I've wished I had met her.
