When in doubt, go for the personal attacks, slate.

So much for respectful dialogue between peers. You can blast any public figure you want, but to resort to personal attacks against fellow members on Propeller does nothing to make for good discourse. I guess the truce is off, huh?-

Pointing out that your statement was beneath someone that touts being one of the sites intellectuals isn't personal attack Spade. I mean how easy is it to look at a public figure and make those sort of silly statements. Nor in any stretch of the imagination can it be confused with Dialogue between 'peers'.

After all the threads you've posted about 'decorum' I'd think you'd not do this sort of thing, it really is beneath you IMO.
The interesting twist is you took it the way you did and now you think the 'truce' is off? Now how thin a truce it must have been to be torn asunder so easily.-

There are several posters on Propeller that I do not share the same politics with but we can share without the personal attacks. You are proving that you do no want to be one of them and then you try to put it on me, as if I am calling off the truce that you are failing to abide by. Enough said.

Carry on then Spade,,,,,, if this sort of thing floats your boat,,,don't get too carried away with the delusion that I have called off any truce,, if you think Cheney is a character from a Batman movie and think that helps your cause go for it,,,, I won't be doing more than shaking my head in amazement,, True enough though enough said.

LMAO Cheney is a patriot! Cheney is a war criminal who lied to Congress and the American people. He's a cheap profiteer who used the power of his office to make money. One has to really be in denial to ignore the facts.

Cheney is a Patriot.
**************************************************...
I never realized that the word "patriot" could be so widely applied. Generally, a "patriot" will come to the aid of their beloved nation in a time of greatest need... I never really though someone that fought tooth and nail to stay out of military service, getting FIVE deferments to avoid serving their nation fit into the resume of a "patriot." I guess that is why they chose to name the piece of legislation attacking some of the most fundamental rights in our Constitution the "Patriot Act!"
When I was a kid in school, they used to call the arithmetic we were taught "modern math," I guess this is just a sort of "modern English."

The war on terrorism completely confounds the minds of Obama and the liberal Democrats. In their La-La land backward thinking views, no one will act irrationally based on a religious belief. The Obama administrations cowardly actions and thinking is incompatible with the realities of the free world. . In Obama’s inexperienced delusional mind, terrorists kill because they want something, or because we did something that makes them kill; and if we only gave them something or stopped doing whatever it is that they don’t like, they would be happy and stop killing. On the opposite side of the coin. Dick Cheney and the rest of us sane Americans understand that Islamic terrorists would kill millions if they simply had the means to do so. They simply want us gone. Obama and the Democrats will never solve any of America’s security problems, and in fact, will cause and perpetuate another 9/11 somewhere down the road, because they cannot and do not understand how terrorism and the world works. The non-stop assaults on President Bush’s proven national security apparatus that has kept us all safe through out his presidency, proves this over and over again. Notice that this man Obama never has any real solutions to the war on terror; Instead, he throws a couple of troops in Afghanistan to pretend he’s commander in chief for a day, makes a nice teleprompter speech that he didn’t write, and then obsesses with showing the media and world how horrible the Bush administration treated the waste of human flesh that murdered 3000 innocent Americans. A perpetual state of cowards disease. It wouldn’t surprised me if these liberal idiots awarded their honorable sheik Mohammad a cash settlement for his pain and suffering, then invited him to the state of the union to sit next to mrs. Obama. Instead of the commander-in-cowardness worrying about a little water being poured over the face of a waste of flesh-piece of garbage from the Middle East, why don’t he try seeing the scars that 9/11 left on countless number of innocent Americans. Not to mention the 3000 innocent dead who were tortured in the worst of ways. Liberals are a cowardly bunch who side with criminals, because they fear criminals. They are the types that are extremely cooperative with the common mugger, then turn and run down the street just as fast as they can, calling for a Conservative cop. “Help! Help! I’ve been robbed!” Obama, the liberal Democrats in congress, and the anti-American left who support them cannot rationalize why Islamic extremists would kill for no other reason than because their religious beliefs compel them to do so. On the other hand; people like Dick Cheney, understand that Negotiating or appeasing those whose position is non-negotiable and are willing to die for their cause is no different than trying to negotiate with a hungry lion who has you cornered in the jungle. While the cowardly liberal negotiates, he is eaten alive!

--But Obama and the Democrats are running the country and Republicans aren't. Their public approval ratings are quite high and Republican approval ratings are DISGRACEFULLY low. So I'd say you silly cons are pretty much alone in your delusional thinking. ;-P -
